Porsche Penske Motorsport has secured its 20th overall victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona, marking their second consecutive win at this prestigious endurance event.

The #7 Porsche 963, piloted by Felipe Nasr (Brazil), Nick Tandy (UK), and Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium), crossed the finish line in first place after an intense and strategic race. This achievement cements Porsche’s dominance in endurance racing and adds another milestone to its illustrious legacy.

A Historic Win for Porsche

The 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship opener saw 61 cars across four competition classes battling at the Daytona International Speedway. The Porsche 963 once again demonstrated its prowess, leading the race for long stretches.

Porsche’s success was further highlighted by the #6 Porsche 963, driven by Matt Campbell (Australia), Mathieu Jaminet, and Kévin Estre (both France), which secured a third-place podium finish. Despite fierce competition, the Porsche team delivered a flawless performance over the 5.73-kilometer circuit.
