Honda made a significant announcement at CES 2025 with the world premiere of two prototype models, the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV, marking the beginning of the Honda 0 Series. The prototypes showcase Honda’s vision for next-generation electric vehicles, set to launch in 2026.
The Honda 0 Saloon, a flagship model of the series, stands out with its sporty, low-height design while offering a surprisingly spacious interior. Built on a newly-developed dedicated EV architecture, the Saloon embodies Honda’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” philosophy. Key features include Honda’s pioneering Level 3 automated driving technology, enabling “eyes-off” driving, and the introduction of ASIMO OS, a custom vehicle operating system for ultra-personal optimization.
Honda is also focusing on expanding energy services, including the Home Energy Management System, and collaborating with Renesas Electronics to develop a high-performance system-on-chip (SoC) for the next generation of the Honda 0 Series.
The production model of the Honda 0 Saloon will debut in North America in 2026, with global markets including Japan and Europe to follow.
