Bentley Batur Convertible #4 has been unveiled as the most luxurious and highly curated commission to date from Bentley Mulliner. Created through an intensive co-creation process with a visionary collector, the car introduces four world-first bespoke features, underlining the extraordinary scope of personalisation available through Bentley’s coachbuilding division.
The Bentley Batur Convertible represents the pinnacle of modern coachbuilt luxury, combining heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design and advanced manufacturing techniques.
Bentley Batur Convertible #4: Four World-First Bespoke Innovations
Batur Convertible #4 introduces four significant firsts that set new benchmarks in the ultra-luxury segment:
- First tri-tone exterior paint scheme using the client’s own commissioned colours, highlighted by a 6 mm gloss-silver fine line that accentuates the Batur’s signature endless bonnet design
- First bespoke colour-matched roof canvas, precisely matched to the exterior finish
- First client-designed animated welcome lamp, projecting a personalised handwritten signature inside the cabin
- First application of three-dimensionally printed platinum in a Bentley production car
These features demonstrate the breadth of materials, finishes, and craftsmanship available through Mulliner Coachbuilt.
Exterior and Interior Craftsmanship
The exterior of the Bentley Batur Convertible #4 features a striking tri-tone design led by the bespoke Breslow Blue colour. For the first time, Bentley has colour-matched the convertible roof canvas to the bodywork. When stowed, the roof reveals the Airbridge finished in the same bespoke shade.
Additional exterior highlights include Midnight Breslow Blue bonnet pinstriping, accent colours on the wheels and wing mirrors, polished titanium exhaust finishers, and bright silver grilles.
Inside the cabin, warm autumnal tones of tan and caramel are paired with light blue accents, creating a refined and cohesive interior environment. Contrast stitching is applied across the seats, headrests, tonneau cover, and instrument panel. The outline of Mount Batur — the volcanic inspiration behind the car’s name — is subtly incorporated into the deep-pile floor mats.

Personalisation and Platinum Details
A standout interior feature is the animated welcome lamp, which uses 415,800 microscopic mirrors to project the client’s handwritten name when entering the vehicle, delivering one of the most personalised cabin experiences offered by Bentley to date.
Batur Convertible #4 also debuts Bentley’s first use of 3D-printed platinum, applied to the steering wheel’s top dead centre marker and the iconic organ stop controls. The cabin fascia is finished in bright aluminium engine spin, inspired by early Bentleys, while the Bentley Rotating Display features bespoke coloured gauge faces and a satin blue Bentley clock.
Performance and W12 Power
Despite its highly bespoke nature, the Bentley Batur Convertible retains the brand’s most powerful W12 engine. The hand-assembled 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 produces 740 bhp, delivering effortless performance and a refined grand-touring experience.
This powertrain ensures the Batur Convertible remains a fitting flagship for Mulliner’s coachbuilt portfolio.
A Showcase of Modern Coachbuilding
Bentley Batur Convertible #4 stands as a showcase of collaboration between client and craftspeople, blending innovation, luxury, and performance. As Bentley moves toward an electrified future, the Batur Convertible also serves as a celebration of the brand’s iconic W12 era.
